Luke Skywalker could be making a triumphant appearance in a new series of Star Wars Tales of the Jedi if a credible leaker is to be believed.
Lucasfilm could be bringing the legendary character to animation as part of their “Star Wars Tales:” anthology show. So far, Lucasfilm Animation have released three series since 2022: Tales of the Jedi, Tales of the Empire and Tales of the Underworld. Each covered a variety of characters and their stories from Count Dooku to Barriss Offee and Cad Bane.
The last two seasons have been released on May 4th for Disney+ subscribers and given we are less than a month away from Star Wars day, fans have been wondering if there will be a new Tales series out next month. That seems very unlikely given Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord‘s finale will release on May 4th and a new Tales series has not been announced. However, we could be seeing a new Tales set of episodes in the future.
According Twitter user named @FivesWalker, Luke Skywalker will feature in the next season of “Tales of the Jedi”. They later clarified in another Tweet that they are assuming it is “Tales of the Jedi” but it could also be Tales of “anything. There are no other details at this time.

Leaker Background
As for FiveWalker’s track record, they do have credibility. Whilst being new to Star Wars leaking, they have publicly shared accurate information on various Star Wars projects.
For example, they correctly confirmed plot details for Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord. They also shared how some directors within the Mandoverse had pitched their own projects; this is something The Wrap reported on months later.
Plus, they were first to report that James Mangold’s Dawn of the Jedi movie is dead which was later reported by Jeff Sneider. They have also reported a few other things which are yet to come to fruition. More recently, they claimed a writers room was assembled for a new live action series. We’ll have to wait and see if these claims end up being real.
