Star Wars Galactic Racer will race into everyone’s hands on October 6th but some lucky people will be getting a world exclusive hands-on this week. We’re still a few months away from the game releasing which means there is plenty of time for more marketing beats.
The game’s publisher Secret Mode announced the news in a post on BlueSky. Members from the British-based game publisher are on their way to Los Angeles. Later this week, various journalists and influencers will be experiencing the game for the first time.
Secret Mode say that the game is part of the Summer Game Fest Play Days hands-on event. The main live show will take place on Friday evening but following that members from various gaming publications will be able to try out new games including Galactic Racer.
At some point in the near future, those who checked out the game will be able to give their thoughts about it and provide new details. No time frame for when these hands on impressions will be released has been shared.

Given the game will be playable at the event, there’s a chance we’ll see a new trailer appear during the main live stream on Friday. We already know Star Wars Zero Company is confirmed to have a gameplay trailer showing up there per an announcement from EA last night. It’s going to be an exciting day for Star Wars fans. Even if no new games are announced, two games are coming out in just a few months and that is something we’ve not experienced in a long time.
In other recent and related news, we discovered other pieces of concept art. These are from the Star Wars: Galactic Racer: The Art of Speed. You can check them out here.
