Star Wars Galactic Racer finally has an official release date following it leaking last week. Fuse Games have published a new trailer announcing the game’s release date, pre-order info and more. It contains tons of new gameplay too.
There’s also an updated website containing new information and images of the various vehicles you can pilot: Podracer, Skim Speeder, Landspeeder and Speeder Bike.
Star Wars Galactic Racer Release Date And Pre-Order Bonuses
Star Wars Galactic Racer will release on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 and will cost $59.99 / £49.99 for the standard edition. Pre-orders are now live across Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-ordering the game will grand you these in-game bonuses:
- A bonus Livery for your repulsorcraft, which can be used on landspeeders, speeder bikes, and skim speeders.
- A bonus Player Banner for you to stand out in multiplayer races.
Star Wars Galactic Racer Deluxe And Collector’s Edition Details
Another marketing image reveals a deluxe and collector’s edition. Let’s go through what is included. If you purchase the Star Wars Galactic Racer Deluxe Edition for £64.99 / $79.99, you’ll receive:
- The Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, one of three additional vehicles exclusive to the Deluxe Edition.
- The Kor Sarun: Ciza T speeder bike.
- The Kor Sarun: Rac S skim speeder.
- Deluxe Arcade Events: Three Arcade events designed specifically for the vehicles mentioned above. Can you master these powerful vehicles, beat the target times and set new records for friends to take on?
- The Deluxe Livery Pack: Make a statement on the track with these unique designs inspired by the Naboo starfighter, which can be applied to any speeder in your collection.
- The Deluxe Player Banner Pack: Show your colors and standout in online multiplayer with an exclusive Insignia and Background.
- The Digital Art Book: Showcasing 80-pages of never-before-seen character, vehicle, and location artwork by the team at Fuse Games during the development of Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
Physical copies of the Deluxe Edition will come with a Steelbook and sleeve containing alternative cover art. All additional content in the Deluxe Edition will also be available for purchase as DLC at launch in the Deluxe Upgrade.
Star Wars Galactic Racer Collector’s Edition
Meanwhile the collector’s edition is physical only and will contain real-life goodies:
- A finely crafted metal model of the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder.
- Kestar’s Banner, which features the Bool Family Sigil.
- The racing pilot patches of the main character Shade and a rival racer from the Galactic League.
- A physical copy of the art book, showcasing all 80 pages of never-before-seen artwork from the development of Star Wars: Galactic Racer in high-quality print.
- A steel case with a custom cardboard slipcover featuring the Deluxe key art.
- This will all come packaged together in a premium Collector’s Edition box.
Physical Deluxe and Standard Editions are only available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Additional Details, Cross Play
According to the developers in the game’s Discord, Epic Online Services will be required on PC. This is to allow for crossplay multiplayer and cross platform friend management and invites. Crossplay allows PS5, Xbox and PC players to game together.
They also add there will be no support for VR or PSVR2. Plus, the Steam Store page for the game has been updated to include info about DRM.
