Star Wars Zero Company has been given an age rating in multiple regions which means a release is not too far away. Even though a specific release date has not been given yet, multiple age ratings give us hope and even provide some interesting new details .
Recently, we reported on how the game’s website began to change and gear up for pre-orders. New options were put out for wishlisting too. This was a clear indication news would be coming very soon. Then on May 4th, developers Bit Reactor, made a post. They said “Happy May the 4th from Bit Reactor! We’ll see you soon.” This was accompanied by a high resolution version of the game’s key art as seen in the image above.
Story Details And More In Age Rating
Now things are even more clear with the game getting age rated. We took a look at the Brazilian Advisory Rating’s recent classifications within the government’s website. On May 5th, this past Tuesday, the game was rated by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. The game was given a 14+ rating and deemed “Not recommended for children under fourteen years of age” as it contains violence.
After this, we noticed the game had been rated in Australia back in April. It was given the M for Mature themes and violence label. There is a moderate impact for themes and violence plus mild bad language. In-Game Purchases is also listed on the International Age Rating Coalition rating.
Interestingly, it states the game’s story “spans from the Clone Wars era into the early Galactic Empire.” This is a new detail about the game’s story.

More details have also been revealed through another age rating. As first pointed out by @HazzadorGamin, the game was age rated in South Korea. This was classification was published on April 30th but only discovered on Sunday. The game has been given a 15+ age rating. The reasons can be found below (via machine translation).
- Realistic depiction of violence
- The depiction of weapons and explosions upon attack or being hit are realistically portrayed
- Vulgar language, slang, and profanity
- There is vulgar language, slang, and profanity during gameplay (eg, b**t**d, d**n)
When Will Zero Company Release?
So when can we expect to see the game release then? Well, based on the typical time gap between being age rated at these institutions, it won’t be far off. It takes around 3-5 months. This puts it anywhere from August to October.
Given Star Wars Galactic Racer is locked in for October 6th, we should expect to see Zero Company come out in August or September. Star Wars fans will be eating good with the release of these two games and season 2 of Ahsoka.
This is just an average guide and it could be longer or shorter. Anything can happen in video game development. Summer Game Fest 2026 takes place in less than a month meaning the game could show up in a new reveal there.
Time has flown by since Star Wars celebration 2025 when we first found out that the game would be coming this year. News has been almost non-existent until several weeks ago where we got new screenshots and gameplay details. Plus, Vic Michaelis has been cast in the game.
