Star Wars Galactic Racer has burst onto the scene and into the hands of many Star Wars fans across the globe. Fuse’s new racing game set in the Star Wars Galaxy has been more than well received by critics and fans alike; it has become one of the top rated Star Wars games of all time.
Today, October 9th, Secret Mode, the publishers behind the game have announced its first hotfix for PC players via their official discord server. Addressing the game’s minimum graphic driver requirements, which are checked upon launching the game, have now been raised.
Secret Mode continued:
“If you are required to update your drivers, the next boot of the game will take a little longer while it rebuilds the shader cache on first boot. We’ve made some stability fixes to DLSS options”
Secret Mode also emphasized that if PC players continue to experience issues after downloading the hotfix or having other issues in general, to contact their customer support center here.

Furthermore, for any player possibly struggling with performance or graphic issues, please be aware that NVIDIA has released updated drivers this week; version 617.42. This new driver update provides the best experience for the current state of Star Wars Galactic Racer and latest games in general.
Via the NVIDIA App:
“Star Wars: Galactic Racer launched earlier today with out-of-the-box support for DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution, plus hardware-accelerated, ray-traced Lumen lighting, which is further refined by DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction”
Today’s hotfix for Star Wars: Galactic Racer should make for a much smoother graphical experience by players and help overall gameplay for players.
More updates are on their way which we reported on here.
