A Galaxy Far, Far Away is headed to Japan in the form of its first official Star Wars store which opened its doors Thursday October 1st. The store, opened by Benelic LLC, a Japanese merchandise brand, is located on the sixth floor of the Ikebukoro PARCO main building. The attraction is now a permanent storefront opened in time for the franchise’s 50th anniversary.
Star Wars fans lucky enough to visit the store can find a wide variety of newly featured merchandise headlined by ‘eLab series’ custom bags and pouches according to HYPEBEAST:
“Based on the concept of ‘choose, add, combine’ you can create your own unique items by combining patches and straps with base bags and pouches. The lineup includes tote bags, shoulder bags, pouches, and sacoches, as well as shoulder parts featuring lightsaber and ‘STAR WARS’ logo motifs”

Also featured at the store is the new ‘COLOR’ series which showcase tote bags and pouches using different materials and representing individual characters from the Star Wars universe. These different materials include enamel, gold, denim, boa, and corduroy which also feature custom embroidery of each character along with their initials. The lineup doesn’t stop there, as many other items have been put up for fans to grab such as Jawa calendars, mask key chains, and even Sith robe blankets, as well as bags inspired by the iconic planet Tatooine.
As of today fans can also get their hands on t-shirts and eco-bags from the “STAR WARS Logo’ series. These T-shirts and eco-bags feature the iconic Star Wars logo from the opening crawl of the films and come in four different colors.
Whether or not you’re a local to the Tokyo area or visiting Japan for the first time, the first official Star Wars store is a must for any fan of the franchise.
