The Mandalorian-themed event for LEGO Star Wars Castaways has returned ahead of The Mandalorian and Grogu hitting theatres next month. As spotted by social media account Daily Star Wars Games, The Event runs from April 1st through 30th.
Titled “The Way”, this event contains plenty of content from the hit Disney+ series prior to Season 3. It includes minifigs and their parts such as Din Djarin, Grogu, Moff Gideon, The Armorer, Peli Motto, Paz Vizsla, Cara Dune and the Dark Troopers.
Meanwhile microfighters such as Din’s N-1 Starfighter, The Razor Crest and Moff Gideon’s light cruiser. Fans will be pleased to find out Din can be unmasked too with a Pedro Pascal-looking appearance. Additionally, emotes and sandcastles can also be unlocked from this event.
Players complete missions in-game without any purchase necessary to unlock all of the cosmetics. Missions change weekly so be sure to log in each week until the end of the month to see what is required to unlock these items. Last month saw fans treated to a Star Wars Rebels-themed event. Meanwhile it is expected that next month’s will be the “Liberation of Naboo” event which is based on Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
LEGO Star Wars Castaways’ Success
LEGO Star Wars Castaways is an Apple Arcade exclusive title developed by Gameloft’s Montreal studio. It launched in 2022 to much praise from fans and critics including winning the Apple Design Award for Visuals and Graphics in the same year.
It also earned the People’s Voice Award for Games, Family & Kids in 2022’s Webbys. Whilst it has not received new content in a couple of years, the team still rotate the game’s various themed events every month allowing for new fans to experience any content they missed previously.
