Star Wars Zero Company has just surpassed 1 million wishlists ahead of launch. That gives us an idea of just how big this game is going to be.
EA Star Wars posted on their official social media channels late on Friday that the game has earned 1 million wishlists. This doesn’t specifically state Steam-only additions so it’s likely to also includes both PlayStation and XBOX. That said, it is number 36 overall in the Steam wishlist activity chart.
Given its XCOM DNA, it is expected to be a much larger hit on PC compared to other Star Wars games. Traditionally, the PC player base on Star Wars games make up a single digit percentage of sales. That won’t be the case here.
Wishlisting does not mean an amount of pre-orders. This is for people that have shown interest in the game and are waiting to see how the reviews are in the coming weeks or when it drops in price with an inevitable sale. It is worth noting that this game starts at just $49.99.
Climbing High

Despite being a game made within a niche genre, the innovations made by the team at Bit Reactor and their blending of tactics with Star Wars is looking like a recipe for success.
The previews that dropped earlier this week were mostly positive. This shot the game up Steam’ top seller’s list reaching a peak of 14 up from 70. A few days on from that surge, it is still in the top 30. In terms of raw numbers, It has gained over 6,000 followers to the Steam hub since the previews went live.
Earlier this month we took a look at a report that gave us an insight into how well the game is doing across various different fronts. It isn’t reaching the heights of Star Wars Galactic Racer on social media but it is much higher on the Steam charts.
