A new Star Wars Starfighter leak has given us details on a fight scene involving Ryan Gosling as Kade Auberon.
The latest information on the film is coming from the renowned Star Wars leaker known as MakingStarWars. He previously gave us character and location information on Star Wars Starfighter including Kade being the name of Gosling’s character.
Now that Kade’s name being revealed at D23 has proven MSW’s report, it adds further credibility to the other details. MSW has now returned with a description of a scene that takes place in the film. This one involves Belle who MSW previously reported as being played by Ryan Gosling’s wife, Eva Mendes.
Scene Description
According to MSW, the scene begins with Kade and Flynn Gray’s character walking into a huge nightclub. There are 3 fighting rings all with fighters in full swing. “Is that her?” Gray says as he points to a beautiful woman dressed in gold at the bar. A kowakian monkey lizard calls her “Belle” and she goes up to a ring and asks a downed fighter “how many fingers am I holding up? …yeah he’s gone.”
She spots Kade and comes down to him, they have history. Kade asks her for the “key” which she won’t give him. Our hero says “I’ll fight for it, if I can last long enough to win, you give me the key”. As Kade approaches the ring, he blows Belle a kiss. The crowd goes wild.
The ring rises and and “Fanga” can be seen. A new character. They are huge and wear googles. This is the crowd’s favourite undisputed fighter. The kid goes after Kade pleading for him to stop but Kade knows he will be just find. He mocks Fanga’s with goggle by putting hands around his eyes. The chants for Fanga intensify.
Kade takes an “I know Karate” stance, and runs towards Fanga bouncing off him and hitting the floor. Fanga goes to stomp his head but Kade rolls away, gets up and dodges a punch by going through his legs.
Kade ducks, punchesand slips between Fanga’s legs. He gets swung around by his collar. However, Kade actually lands a punch. The crowd is stunned and so is Fanga. Kade nearly falls into the crowd and grabs Fanga’s goggles to save himself.
Due to this, Fanga throws Kade into the crowd by the kid who has has been trying to use the force this whole time, “are you trying?” “Yes!” The crowd pushes Kade up and surfs him back into the ring “try harder! Try very harder!”
He crawls into a ball and Fanga runs at him but slips on the blood and saliva. He flies over Kade and crashes into a table and wipes out his fans! The crowd chant his name urging him to get back in the ring. He sees Kade mocking him, one of the crowd laughs and points at Fanga so he picks him up and throws him across the room, Fanga runs to the ring, leaps up in a single bound straight into a punch…
Kade miraculously holds the punch in one hand. The crowd are dumbfounded along with Fanga. Kade holds it seemingly with no effort, yawning and feigning boredom, whilst also keeping an eye on the clock… The kid is using the force!
His outstretched hand us holding Fanga back, it’s clearly taking his full concentration. Belle then blocks his view, the hold is broken and Fanga punches Kade cold, he’s picked up, dropped, thrown, body slammed, he is above Fanga’s head in a literal spin when the buzzer goes. He barely raises an arm to celebrate his victory before Fanga throws him up in the air. The crowd are now furious as their champion has lost along with their winnings. Kade stumbles down the steps to meet Belle, they kiss and she gives him the key. That’s the end of the scene.
The key is seemingly important. What does it unlock? We’ll have to wait and find out.
