The first footage from Star Wars Starfighter has been shown off by Disney and Lucasfilm at an event on Wednesday.
According to a new report by Deadline about Infinity Vision (Disney’s new large screening format standard), the Shawn Levy-directed debuted at Disney’s presentation at CineEurope. The event held in Barcelona is hosted yearly and allows studios to share what they have coming. The attendees are not members of the public but rather cinema operator representatives , tech firms and studio execs.
The Hollywood trade tells its readers that it heard Disney showed off footage from Star Wars: Starfighter during its presentation. It was featured alongside Avengers: Doomsday, Gatto, Hexed, Ice Age: Boiling Point, Moana, The Dog Stars and Whalefall. It seems like the film will also get a Infinity Vision release.
No recording of the behind closed door event or a description of what was shown has leaked as of yet. Ryan Gosling must have appeared in at least one shot, right?
