Star Wars Starfighter will reportedly get a teaser at D23 and we also know the rough length of it. That’s according to a reputable source within the industry.
We previously wrote about how very little has been confirmed to take place at D23 for Star Wars this year. However, there has been plenty of speculation and rumours about a teaser trailer for both Star Wars Starfighter and Ahsoka Season 2.
There has also been further debate whether any teaser will only be watchable by those in attendance and not publicly released online. Now it is almost certain will be getting something from the next big screen blockbuster from a galaxy far, far away.
In the latest episode of The Hot Mic, the ever reliable Jeff Sneider took questions from fans including one about Star Wars at D23. The insider was asked if we can expect to see a Star Wars Starfighter teaser at the event. He responded by saying “yes“. Given Sneider’s track record (especially when it comes to Lucasfilm) there’s no reason to believe otherwise.
Additionally, Sneider quote tweeted our Tweet about D23 and said that we should “prepare yourself for 60 glorious seconds” plus Tweeted a star and boxing glove emoji. So there you have it, there will be a 60 second long teaser for Shawn Levy-directed picture at D23. This will likely take place during the Disney Entertainment Showcase which takes place from 7pm to 9pm PT today.
