Star Wars Ahsoka Season 2 Costumes Reveal Clone Wars Flashbacks

Brand new costumes from Ahsoka Season 2 have been revealed at D23. This includes a whole new look for Anakin Skywalker, young Ahsoka and more. They also point towards what we can expect to see in flashbacks to The Clone Wars.

As we previously wrote about last week, Disney and Lucasfilm have gone on to unveil several outfits from key characters from the upcoming season on the opening day of D23. These are on display at the show floor for all attendees to take a close look at. Concept art from the show can also be seen surround the costumes.

Ever since this public viewing was announced, fans have been desperate to see a glimpse at what new outfits we’ll see in the next season of Ahsoka. Let’s now take a look at all the new costumes on display. These photos come courtesy of omeleteve who attended the show floor reveal.

    Anakin Skywalker

A new outfit for Anakin Skywalker is the headliner. Designed for cold environments, this new look is similar to what the chosen one wore in Season 1 Episode 15 “Trespass”. There are some key differences seen in this live action interpretation. For example, the Jedi logo is on his left arm rather than the left side of the chest.

    Young Ahsoka

Onto young Ahsoka’s latest outfit. Much like Anakin, it is one for low temperature environments. It does resemble what is worn by her in Season 4 Episode 14 “A Friend in Need”. Much like Anakin’s, there are some design changes. Based on both of these outfits it’s clear there will be a flashback set in a freezing location during The Clone Wars.

    Thrawn

Whilst we don’t have close-up shots of Thrawn at the time of writing, based on what we can see the updates are extremely minimal to his admiral uniform.

    Ahsoka

Up next is a look at Ahsoka in present day during the show. Her outfit looks very familiar but there are subtle tweaks to the design from head to toe and different materials.

    Sabine Wren

Sabine has also seen some changes to her Mandalorian armour. As you would expect, the artist has given it a fresh coat of paint.

    The Great Mothers

The Great Mothers’ robes have been updated quite significantly especially on the front. This feels like far more grand appearance.

It is unfortunate that the second season of this show was pushed back to next year. We would likely be watching the premiere of the show in just a few weeks time if it had not been delayed. Hopefully the delay leads to a greater post-production. There is a lot of excitement around Ahsoka season 2 and for good reason. It is also up in the air if a teaser trailer will be release during this weekend at D23. We will just have to wait and see.
