The first sales and revenue estimate for Star Wars Zero Company is in following an interestingly mixed launch across PC and consoles.

As we’ve seen, the debut title from Bit Reactor has been a hit on PC especially with Steam users. Strong reviews and word of mouth pushed its peak concurrent playercount up days after launch. However, it is lagging behind on consoles. How many people bought the game on though? Well, we finally have a reported estimate.

According to a report by gamediscover.co, Star Wars Zero Company sold around 650,000 copies on Steam during August. The game came out on August 27th. It was the highest grossing game on Valve’s platform in August earning an estimated $28m. Reports say EA paid $50m to fund the game’s development. The report also states the game sold around 100,000 copies on both XBOX and PS5. This puts August sales figures up to around 850,000.

As for player charts, the game moved up a bit during its second week on sale. Circana previously shared that the game was the 9th most played game by active users in its first week on sale. As of the week ending September 5th, it moved up to 7th position.

We are still expecting more data to come in surrounding Zero Company so stay tuned. In other chart news, the game was one of the most downloaded games on PlayStation last month.
