A list of the most watched Star Wars shows on Disney+ so far this year has been revealed. We’ll be taking a look at the new data charts that show the top 10 most streamed shows in the United States from January to June this year.
Whilst we’ve only had one new show drop this year, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, the back catalogue of series are still trading blows with new Disney+ shows. The numbers for some of these shows are encouraging considering a bit of a quiet 12 months or so when it comes to the galaxy far, far away.
In a new report from Luminate, the first season of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord was the 5th most watched original show on the entire streaming service. We knew it was off to a great start back when it premiered and it has seemingly done well over the course of the season and beyond. A second season was already greenlit and was confirmed to release in 2027 as of last week.
The Mandalorian also shows up in the charts. This was likely bolstered by the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu in theatres this May. Fans of Andor, The Book of Boba Fett and The Bad Batch will be also pleased to see those shows included in the top 10. Notable omissions include Ahsoka despite Season 2 on its way in several months time and The Acolyte which has had lots of social media campaigning to revive the show.
