Star Wars Galactic Racer reviews are coming soon as we race towards launch. Let’s dive into the situation.
A number of gaming publications and content creators have revealed that they now have the full game in their hands. Popular names within the community such as Star Wars Explained showed pictures of themselves playing Galactic Racer. Streamer BehavingBeardly showed of the game’s start screen which you can see below.
It’s not all that common game reviewers are able to share that they are currently in the middle of reviewing a game. This is a sign of confidence, to an extent, from the developers and publishers. This tracks with what publisher Secret Mode have said publicly. Star Wars Zero Company was also revealed to be in review in the run-up to launch and that ended up being scored as the fourth highest rated Star Wars game of all time.Â
The biggest sign of confidence will be when the reviews actually release. Games that have reviews dropping the day before can be seen to have the publisher not very optimistic in their product. If it’s a few days before though then that’s a good sign. As of now no reviewer or creator have shared an embargo. Hopefully the reviews drop early in the week of launch and it paints a positive picture of first Star Wars racing game in two decades.
The anticipation for this game is quite high and it could be yet another acclaimed Star Wars game. They have been really carrying the franchise this year after a bit of a dismal year or so from Lucasfilm.Â
As for preloading ahead of launch, there is no official information on that as of now. We expect Fuse Games to provide preloading information imminently.
